Painting With Love

This year on Father’s Day, I celebrated the wonderful father that my husband is by painting him with our two children:

It’s not a typical portrait, but a picture of love and of something we love. They’re at the top of a hill, holding hands, looking out on future adventures — and while you can’t see me, I’m right there with them, cherishing the moment through my eyes and heart!

Here’s part of my process (and a sweet, silly song!):

I painted it twice — three times, actually! Once as a greeting card to give to him (and sell on Etsy – see below!), once for framing, and once for a friend, of her husband and three daughters.

My husband loves it! And I hope all the other fathers and grandfathers who received the card loved it, too. 💕
